A. The Village Attorney shall serve as counsel for the Board and shall represent the Board at any hearing on charges against officers of the Public Safety Department, unless such attorney represents the person making such charges, in which event the Board will retain and appoint a separate attorney.
B. To the extent the rules of the Board and any other previously enacted ordinance, rule or regulation of the Village may be inconsistent with the provisions of this section, the provisions of this section shall govern and control.
