Each member of the board shall possess the qualifications required by State Statute; except, that: a) a person shall be eligible for appointment to the board if he either resides or works within the Village; b) holding another Village office other than sworn full time public safety officer shall not bar a person from membership; and c) relation to an elected official shall not bar a person from membership.
