7-2-2: ASSAULT, BATTERY, AND FIGHTING:
   A.   Assault: It shall be unlawful for any person, without lawful authority, to engage in conduct which places another in reasonable apprehension of receiving a battery.
   B.   Battery: It shall be unlawful for any person to intentionally or knowingly, without legal jurisdiction, and by any means cause bodily harm to another, or make physical contact of insulting or provoking nature with another.
   C.   Fighting: It shall be unlawful for any person to physically fight with another person without legal justification.
   D.   Penalty: Any person who is found liable of violating this section shall be subject to a fine of not less than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) nor more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) for each offense.
