A. Single-Family Homes And Condominiums: Except for waste described in section 5-3-4 of this chapter, the Village will collect waste from single-family houses and condominiums in accordance with the terms and conditions of sections 5-3-3-1 and 5-3-3-2 of this chapter. All waste not collected by the Village shall be disposed of by the owner or occupant of the premises on which the waste is produced or located in accordance with the provisions of this chapter applicable to premises which are not single-family houses or condominiums.
B. Other Than Single-Family Homes And Condominiums:
1. Except as provided in subsection B2 of this section, the owners, managers or occupants of premises in the Village, other than single-family houses and condominiums, must provide for removal of waste from the premises by a scavenger service licensed by the Village at least once in every seven (7) day period.
2. The owners, managers or occupants of premises in the Village, other than single-family houses and condominiums, that are either: a) in the area of the Village that is located north and west of the intersection of Mannheim Road and Lunt Avenue; or b) in the area of the Village bounded by Higgins Road on the north, River Road on the east, Glen Lake Street on the south and Shafer Court on the west must provide for removal of waste from the premises by a scavenger service licensed by the Village at least twice in every seven (7) day period. If there are two (2) removals of waste from premises that are either: a) in the area of the Village that is located north and west of the intersection of Mannheim Road and Lunt Avenue; or b) in the area of the Village bounded by Higgins Road on the north, River Road on the east, Glen Lake Street on the south and Shafer Court on the west during a seven (7) day period, each removal shall occur no earlier than the third day after the day on which the previous removal occurred. If there are three (3) removals during a seven (7) day period from premises that are either located north and west of the intersection of Mannheim Road and Lunt Avenue or in the area of the Village that is located north and west of the intersection of Mannheim Road and Lunt Avenue, at least one of the removals shall occur no earlier than the second day after the day on which the previous removal occurred.
3. The obligation of the owner, manager and occupant of premises to provide for the removal of waste from the premises as required by this subsection is a joint and several obligation of the owner, manager and occupant.
