11-11-2: PAYMENT OF PREVAILING WAGES REQUIRED:
Laborers, workers and mechanics performing any type of construction or demolition work on any property in the Village which benefits from of any type or form of Village development incentive shall be paid not less than the prevailing wages for the type of work performed that are in effect as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor for Cook County under the Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq. Property in the Village of Rosemont which benefits from of any type or form of Village development incentive shall include, but not be limited to, any property or property interest located in the Village of Rosemont which is being developed or improved with: (1) the use of Tax Increment Financing to reimburse eligible redevelopment project costs pursuant to the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act, 65 ILCS 5/11-74.4-1 et seq.; (2) funding through sales tax sharing agreements; (3) an agreement under the Property Assessed Clean Energy Act, 50 ILCS 50/1 et seq., which allows for the financing and/or refinancing of various types of energy efficiency improvements; (4) any agreement where the amount owed to the Village by the owner of the property interest is reduced to assist in the funding of property improvements; and (5) other types of agreements which provide for Village incentives for the improvement of property in the Village.
