505.25 GENERAL RABIES QUARANTINE.
      Whenever, in the judgment of the Director of Public Safety-Service, it is determined that rabies is or may be prevalent in the City, all animals in the City shall be quarantined. During such quarantine, no owner, keeper or person in charge of any animal shall, with knowledge of such quarantine, permit an animal to leave the premises where such animal lives. Such a quarantine order shall be considered an emergency. Animals found at large in violation of such quarantine order may be impounded or destroyed within the discretion of the Director of Public Safety-Service. (Ord. 50-18. Passed 11-26-18.)
