EDITOR'S NOTE: The provisions of Ohio R.C. 1901.01 established a Municipal Court for the City of Rocky River which has jurisdiction within the corporate limits of the City of Rocky River. The powers and duties of the Court are as provided in Chapter 1901 of the Ohio Revised Code. The City Charter, in Article II, Section 5(
c), grants judicial powers to the Mayor as may be granted by the general laws of Ohio, but Ohio R.C. 1901.04 provides that upon the institution of a municipal court, the jurisdiction of the Mayor in all civil and criminal causes terminates within the municipal corporation in which such municipal court is located.
