951.01 FEES.
   I.   Effective January 1, 2024, the following fees shall be charged for use of the Outdoor Municipal Pool.

      a.    Special promotions of all rates my be offered at+/- 50% of base rate at the discretion of the Recreation Department.
      b.    Main member must be an adult for the affiliate pass to be sold.
   II.    Recreation Passport Program:
      a.    The Recreation Passport Program offers access to the Civic Center, Outdoor Municipal Pool and Hamilton Ice Arena for one calendar year (seasonal use of some spaces). The rate is based on the membership category's best and lowest rate of all three facilities.
      b.    The current Recreation Passport Program rate is set by Section 954.01 under facility fees.
   III.   Military, Insurance Type and City of Rocky River Employee Membership:
      a.    Military - 50% off whatever category, with proper identification. An individual who is an active and/or newly registered member of any U.S. military service, or who is an active member of any reserve unit and provides proof of imminent call up to military status.
      b.    Non-Active & Veteran military will receive 10% off their appropriate category.
      c.    Employees of the City may receive a discounted membership during their employment. Additional household members will be assessed at the appropriate rate.
      d.    The Recreation Department, with the initial approval of Mayor, may enter into agreements with Health Insurance Companies for membership reimbursement.
   IV.    Program and Special Class Fees:
      a.    Rates for programs, classes and drop-ins are to be set by the Parks & Recreation Commission.
   V.    Facility Reservations & Rentals

      a.    Special promotions and rate adjustments of+/- 50% of base rate at the discretion of the Recreation Department.
      b.    Rates valid during operation hours only. After-hours parties and events will be scheduled and priced based on the current daily admission rates and staff wages.
      c.    Pool parties are only to be scheduled by Rocky River Residents.
      d.    Recreation programs take priority over reservations and requests.
      e.    Recreation Staff have the authority to refuse rental requests based on scheduling conflicts, informal use needs or programming needs.
   VI.   Definitions.
Adult:
18 - 59 years of age/out of high school
Household Member:
Additional person living in the same household as the main member
Student:
5 - 23 years of age (college ID may be required)
Child:
3-4 years of age
Infant:
Under 3 on June 1st
Family:
Up to 2 adults residing at the same address, their children of whom they are legal guardians who are under 18 or still in high school
Non-Resident/Affiliate:
Friends or family members of Civic Center members or resident pool pass holders that are recommended by the Civic Center members, Rocky River Business Employee or resident pool pass holders for a pool membership. A maximum of 200 passes will be sold for Friends and Family.
Senior 1:
Age 60+
