§ 91.007 COLLECTION OF MONIES.
   The office of the County Animal Care and Control shall have and perform the following duties enumerated in this section in cases involving violations of §§ 91.008, 91.035 through 91.038, 91.050, 91.051, 91.065 through 91.073, and 91.999:
   (A)   Accept payments for registration and issue tags;
   (B)   Accept and collect registrations fees collected by veterinarian clinics issuing registration tags;
   (C)   Maintain records of all violations of the provisions of this chapter of which each person has been guilty during the preceding 24 months; whether such guilt was established in court or by payment of fine; and
   (D)   Any person charged with an offense requiring payment of a fine shall pay such fine at the County Circuit Clerk’s office. Whenever any person charged with an offense requiring payment of a fine fails to appear and pay his or her fine in seven working days, a formal county ordinance violation complaint shall be initiated in the Circuit Court. All fines, forfeitures, penalties, and fees collected as a result of the enforcement of this chapter shall be paid into the Animal Control Fund per 510 ILCS 5/7.
