(A) Any person violating or aiding in the violation of any provision of this chapter, or resisting, obstructing, or impeding the Animal Control Authority or any authorized officer in enforcing this chapter, shall be fined no less than $50 or no more than $500. For the first offense, a warning citation may be issued. Each day a person fails to comply constitutes a separate offense. Violators may also be charged with a Class C misdemeanor.
(B) As an alternative remedy, the Administrator in this chapter, or in any statute, may issue a ticket in those instances where an owner violates this chapter.
