For purposes of this chapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
CITY. The municipality of Rockaway Beach, Oregon.
LEDS. The Law Enforcement Data System administered by the Oregon State Police pursuant to O.R.S. 181.555 and OAR 257-010-0025 concerning its access and use.
NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION. Any legal entity, other than a natural person, primarily organized for a purpose other than generating a profit or financial gain such as a charity or club, fraternal or scientific organization. As used herein, the focus is on non-profit legal entities serving the local public or community.
PERSON. A natural person, partnership, corporation, limited liability partnership, limited liability company, co-operative, governmental entity, association, or other entity in law or fact.
POLICE CHIEF. The Chief of the Police Department of the City of Rockaway Beach or his/her designee.
