(A) Bicycles and skateboards operated, parked, or left in violation of this chapter or any provision of state law may be immediately impounded by the Police Department, in addition to any citation issued.
(B) The Police Department shall make reasonable efforts to locate the owner of any bicycle or skateboard impounded under the provisions of this chapter.
(C) A bicycle or skateboard impounded under this chapter which remains unclaimed for 30 days shall be disposed of in accordance with the city's procedures for disposal of abandoned or lost personal property.
