§ 52.006 CASHIER; APPOINTMENT AND DUTIES.
   (A)   At the first meeting of the Board of Directors in the month of January of each year, the Directors shall appoint a Cashier for the waterworks, fix the compensation therefor and require the Cashier to furnish bond for the satisfactory performance of the duties of the Cashier in the penal sum of not less than $1,000 with surety to the approval of the Trustees.
   (B)   It shall be the duty of the Cashier to make all bills to consumers for water used upon report of the Superintendent of meter readings and for any other service that may be utilized other than through meters, receive all money due to the waterworks from the consumers for service furnished, and daily deposit with the Clerk-Treasurer all funds received by such cashier during any day that collections are made by the cashier pursuant to this chapter.
