The Village Engineer is vested with the following authority and responsibilities in regard to subdivision control:
A. Review all preliminary plats and supporting documentation to determine compliance with the regulations contained herein, and provide such certification as required.
B. Review the final plat to determine compliance with regulations contained herein, and provide such certification as required.
C. Review the improvement plans, specifications and cost estimate to determine compliance with regulations contained herein.
D. Inspect all improvements required by this Title both during construction and after completion to ensure compliance with this Title and with good construction practice, and provide such certification as required.
E. Forward to the Village Clerk a written statement of estimated charges for review of the plat and supporting documentation as well as engineering fees and inspection fees for inspection of subdivision improvements during the course of construction, to be paid by the subdivider. (Ord. 272, 3-20-78)
