The Village shall have jurisdiction over and control of all subdivision and platting of land located within the corporate limits of Village and in the territory outside of and not distant more than one and one-half (11/2) miles from the Riverwoods corporate limits, and not included in any other city, village or incorporated town, and shall have authority to approve the vacation of subdivisions and streets and alleys within the stated limits of jurisdiction. When the boundaries of another municipality are located within three (3) miles or less from the corporate limits, the jurisdiction of these provisions shall extend to a point midway between, except that this may be altered by an intermunicipal agreement.
