A. The village board may impose restrictions upon any village street to facilitate traffic flow and enhance public safety. Said restrictions may include, but are not limited to, regulations prohibiting all but local traffic, speed limitations, weight limitations or such other regulations as the president and board of trustees may determine are necessary or appropriate for the public safety.
B. Such restrictions shall be effective upon the adoption of a specific resolution and the posting of said streets in the manner provided by such resolution. All such restrictions may be enforced by a penalty not to exceed fifty dollars ($50.00) for each violation. (Ord. 91-4-5, 4-16-1991)
