A. In the event that a permit applicant's request for a permit is denied by the Village Engineer, the permit applicant shall have the right to appeal to the Village Board of Trustees by filing a written notice of appeal within fourteen (14) days of the Village Engineer's determination. In the event that no notice of appeal is filed within said fourteen (14) days, the applicant's appeal rights shall have lapsed and terminated.
B. In the event that the applicant files an appeal in timely fashion, the Village Board shall promptly thereafter, at its next regularly scheduled meeting, or as soon thereafter as practicable, issue its decision. The decision of the Village Board of Trustees shall be final.
