A. Each dealer within the village shall register with the village within thirty (30) days after the commencement of such business on forms provided by the village finance director or designee. Each dealer shall keep books which, at a minimum, shall include:
1. The number of gallons of motor fuel sold at retail each day by the dealer in the village.
2. The actual motor fuel tax collected for each day by the dealer.
B. The village finance director or designee shall at all reasonable times have full access to such records.
C. To the extent permitted by law, the financial records of any dealer submitted pursuant to this section or any rule and regulation promulgated thereunder shall not be available for public inspection in order to protect the dealer's right to privacy. (Ord. 20-08-14, 8-18-2020)
