3-1-6: FEES, TERMS AND EXPIRATION DATES:
There shall be added a processing fee in the amount provided in section 2-12-8 of this Code for every license or permit fee paid by check which is returned for insufficient funds, or for any other reason which requires additional processing by the Village in order for said payment to be collectible. In addition, a late fee of ten dollars ($10.00) shall be included in any fee amount whenever a required fee is paid more than two (2) weeks after the due date or the renewal date.
Unless otherwise provided by ordinance applying particularly to the issuance of any license or permit, the maximum license or permit period, if any, the expiration date and the fees for such license or permit shall be as set forth in the following tables, with the following exceptions: If the maximum period of any license or permit is one year and the expiration date of the license or permit is six (6) months or less after the application date therefor, only one-half (1/2) of the stipulated annual fee, or such smaller amount as may be specified below, shall be required.
