8-6-17: WEAPONS:
   A.   Carry When Concealed: It shall be unlawful for any person within the corporate limits of the village to carry or wear, under his clothes or concealed about his person, any pistol, revolver or slungshot, metal knuckles, switch blade knife or dagger, or any other dangerous or deadly weapon. This prohibition shall not apply to members of the police department of the village when on duty nor to any officer of any court whose duty it may be to serve warrants or make arrests. The prohibition on the possession of a concealed firearm herein shall not apply to any person licensed to carry a concealed firearm pursuant to the Illinois firearm concealed carry act, 430 Illinois Compiled Statutes 66/1 et seq., as amended. "Concealed firearm" as used in this section shall mean a loaded or unloaded handgun carried on or about a person completely or mostly concealed from view of the public or on or about a person within a vehicle as defined in 430 Illinois Compiled Statutes 66/5, as amended. Any such weapon duly adjudged by any judge to have been worn or carried by any person in violation of these provisions shall be forfeited or confiscated to the village.
   B.   Discharge Of Firearms: It shall be unlawful for any person, except a member of the police department when on duty, or any officer of the court whose duty it may be to serve warrants to make arrests, to fire or discharge any gun, pistol, fowling piece or other firearm, within the corporate limits of the village.
   C.   Air Guns, Spring Guns: No person shall be permitted to fire or discharge in the village any air gun or air pistol, spring gun or spring pistol, or other device which is calculated or intended to project a bullet, pellet, arrow or similar projectile. In addition to any other penalty that may be imposed for violation of this provision, weapons used in violation shall be forfeited to and confiscated by the village.
   D.   Illegal Sales To Minors: No person shall, within the corporate limits of the village, sell, loan or furnish to any person under the age of twenty one any gun, pistol, fowling piece, air gun or air pistol, spring gun or spring pistol, or other firearm or device which is calculated or intended to propel or project a bullet, pellet, arrow or similar projectile.
