4-2-3: EXPIRATION:
Any permit issued shall become invalid if the authorized work is not commenced within three months or is not completed within fifteen months after issuance of the permit for single-family residential construction or one year for all other types of construction except that the duration of a permit for a project approved as a site plan review or planned development shall be in accordance with the approved schedule of development contained within the site plan review or planned development application, or if the authorized work is suspended or abandoned for a period of three months after the time of commencing the work. If a project involves the issuance of a demolition permit as well as a construction permit, the construction permit shall become invalid if the authorized work is not completed within fifteen months after issuance of the demolition permit for single-family residential construction and one year for all other types of construction. Before work can be resumed, the permit shall be renewed. Fees for a renewed permit shall be in accordance with the extension fees included in section 4-2-1 of this chapter. (Ord. 3278, 4-27-2009)
