§ 95.01 PUBLIC LANDING AND PUBLIC DOCKS.
   (A)   Vessels may dock for a maximum of ten hours in any 24-hour period, May 15 through September 15, unless otherwise authorized by the Port Authority. Vessels must leave the dock for at least one 24 hour period after docking. All overnight vessels tying up to the dock must register with the Rising Sun Police Department at the beginning of each docking period. Boats may dock as a courtesy at the dock for 15 minutes maximum while launching. There is to be no docking, tying up to, or fishing from floats, buoys, signs and the like.
   (B)   All visitors to the Rising Sun Public Boat Ramp and Docks use the ramp, docks, and adjoining recreation area facilities at their own risk and liability. In granting permission to enter and use the area and facilities, the city and/or the Rising Sun/Ohio County Port Authority is not responsible for injury, theft, loss or damage, and by use of the facilities, all visitors agree to hold the city and/or the Rising Sun/Ohio County Port Authority harmless from any claim, demand or liability.
   (C)   Parking is permitted in designated areas only. No parking on or alongside the public boat ramp, off roads, or on the river shoreline. All vehicles not parked in designated parking areas will be towed away at the owner's expense. (See § 71.01(C) for Parking Violation, § 71.99 for Parking Violation Penalties)
   (D)   Positively no open ground fires are permitted anywhere in the public landing or marina area.
   (E)   Children are welcome under supervision and responsibility of an adult. All parties using the public docks must have a responsible adult (18 or older) in attendance. Pets are permitted, but must be kept on leash at all times and must be controlled to the immediate area. Please clean up after your dog, placing droppings in garbage cans. Vicious or unusually noisy dogs creating nuisance are subject being picked up by County Animal Control.
   (F)   No swimming is permitted around the public landing and marina dock areas. For your own safety, no jumping or diving into the river from the shoreline is allowed. Absolutely no swimming, jumping, or diving is allowed from the boat dock or fishing pier.
   (G)   All visitors must dispose of all trash, garbage and the like in the containers provided. Dispose of sewage and drain wastes is prohibited and littering is an offense under city and state law.
   (H)   Behavior offensive to the public, including but not limited to drunkenness, use of narcotics, indulging in boisterous, loud, abusive, threatening or indecent conduct or speech is prohibited. Consumption of any alcoholic beverage by persons under 21 years of age is illegal and constitutes grounds for eviction and/or arrest.
   (I)   Radios and other sound-producing equipment may be operated from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. providing they are kept at low volume so as not to be heard in nearby homes. Car radios may not be operated in the riverfront park area if they can be heard outside the car.
   (J)   Open flames, including fires in grills, are prohibited on the public docks or in boats within 150 feet of the public docks.
