§ 71.99 PENALTY.
   Except as otherwise provided by state law, wherever in this chapter an act is prohibited or is made or declared unlawful, or the doing of an act is required, or the failure to do an act is declared unlawful, the violation of any provision of this chapter and a conviction therefor shall be a Class C infraction. Each and every such violation shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $500. Each day a person violates this chapter constitutes a separate offense. In a prosecution based upon those sections, it shall be necessary to allege only to first day with respect to which a fine is assessable and upon conviction thereof, the offender shall be assessed for that day and also for each day subsequent thereto with respect to which it is proven and found that the person did commit the violation.
