(a) Required. No person shall construct, erect or alter a brick or masonry mailbox without first obtaining a building permit therefor issued and signed by the Director of Community Development or his or her designee.
(b) Applications. An application for such a permit shall be in writing on a form available from the Village. Such application shall briefly describe the proposed work or structure and contain information, drawings, plans and specifications. The application shall be made by the owner, lessee or agent or the architect, engineer or builder employed in connection with the construction. Such application shall contain the full name and address of the applicant and of the owner, lessee or agent, and, if the applicant is a corporate body, the full names and addresses of its responsible officers.
