(a) All vehicles described in Section 1022.01 must follow the designated construction route to the construction or repair site. The property owner and contractor shall maintain all roads along the construction route and correct any traffic hazard that may result from such use by construction vehicles. The Village Engineer shall have the sole authority to determine when such a hazard exists. Within a reasonable time after the date on which the Engineer notifies the property owner and contractor of the existence of such hazard, such owner and contractor shall correct the hazard without regard to completion of the project as a whole.
(b) The Village reserves the right to correct such hazard if it is no corrected within a reasonable time at the expense of the owner and contractor.
