(a) The Village cable television system may be interconnected with the systems of other villages and cities, in the manner provided in Section 814.20. Additionally, the system may interconnect with affiliated systems and other systems that may be developed in the area. Upon the request of the grantor, the grantee shall begin negotiations with cable system operators in adjacent cities to achieve interconnection. Within six months of any grantor request, the grantee shall report to the grantor the results of the negotiations.
(b) The grantee shall use its best efforts to cooperate with any interconnection corporation, regional interconnection authority or State or Federal regulatory agency which may be hereafter established for the purpose of regulating systems beyond the boundaries of the Village.
