806.04 CLASSES OF LICENSES; LIMITATION ON NUMBERS; ANNUAL FEE.
   (a)   The Classes of liquor licenses and annual fees are set forth below:

A
Authorizes the retail sale of alcoholic liquor on the premises for consumption. Except for beer and wine served in the original package, all alcoholic beverages must be served by the glass only.
A-L
Authorizes the retail sale of alcoholic liquor on the premises for consumption. Except for beer and wine served in the original package, all alcoholic beverages must be served by the glass only, subject to limited hours as specified elsewhere in this chapter.
B
Authorizes the retail sale of beer and wine for consumption on the premises where sold.
C
Authorizes the retail sale of alcoholic liquor, but not for consumption on the premises where sold. All alcoholic liquor must be sold from the licensed premises and no off-premises sale or delivery is allowed.
D
Authorizes the retail sale of wine, beer, wine coolers and hard lemonade, but no other hard liquor and/or spirits. Does not permit the consumption of alcohol on the premises where sold. It must be sold from the licensed premises and no off premises sale or delivery is allowed.
E
Authorizes the sale of alcoholic liquor on premises owned by or under long-term lease to the local posts of national veterans’ organizations that are exempt from federal income taxation, and whose membership consists exclusively of veterans of the military and naval services of the United States of America, for consumption of the specified premises only by members and their guests, or for consumption at periodic private events held on the premises.

Authorizes the retail sale of alcoholic liquor for consumption on the premises of a restaurant; provided, however, that the service of alcholic liquor shall only be from a service bar to tables and shall only be during times when the kitchen is open and meals are available to be ordered and served to the public.
G
A BYOB license shall authorize the consumption of beer, wine and liquor which has been brought onto the premises of a restaurant or a retail tobacco store as a complement to approved activities. The consumption of alcoholic beverages pursuant to a Public Accommodation BYOB license is subject to compliance with the requirements in Section 806.33.
H
A Class H license shall authorize the licensee to allow patrons to bring their own alcoholic liquors for consumption on the premises subject to the following requirements:
1.   Patrons over the age of 21 years may bring onto the premises no more than 48 ounces of unopened beer per patron, or no more than 750 milliliters of unopened wine per two patrons, or no more than 750 milliliters of spirits per four patrons.
2.   When alcoholic liquor is available, the licensee must have a means of ensuring that persons under 21 years of age do not consume any alcoholic liquor.
3.   At the licensee's discretion, the licensee may require the alcoholic liquor to be opened and served by the licensee, and the licensee may charge a corkage or setup fee for that service.
4.   The licensee must seal any open alcoholic liquor before the alcohol is removed from the premises by any patron. Any alcoholic liquor not consumed by the patron and not sealed shall be destroyed by the licensee or its agents or employees.
5.   Patrons may only consume commercially manufactured alcoholic beverages as defined by 235 ILCS 5/1-3.01 through 3.04.
6.   Class H licensees shall be liable for violations of this chapter in the same manner as the holder of any other classification of liquor license, including, but not limited to, violations for service to minors and the over serving of patrons.
7.   Class H licensees are prohibited from storing alcohol on the premises, unless the licensee also has an appropriate license allowing the retail sale of alcoholic liquors on the premises.
8.   Class H licensees must obtain dram shop and/or host liquor liability insurance coverage.
9.   At all times when alcoholic beverages are being consumed on the premises there shall be present at least one agent or employee of the licensee who is the holder of a valid training certificate issued by a trainer certified by the State of Illinois Liquor Control Commission consistent with Section 806.32 of the Village Code.
I
Authorizes the sale of alcoholic liquor for consumption on the premises of a banquet hall, subject to the following requirements:
1.   The service of alcoholic beverages shall be limited only to invited guests of private, pre-scheduled events.
2.   No alcoholic beverages shall be on display or advertised for sale to the general public.
3.   No video gaming, as defined in the Video Gaming Act (230 ILCS 40), shall be permitted on the premises of the licensee.

Authorizes the retail sale on the premises specified of alcholic liquor for consumption on the premises where sold, which permit shall be void 24 hours after issuance, and may be issued to any OR

person eligible and in compliance with Section 806.05 and upon approval by the Local Liquor Control Commissioner. The permit shall be granted subject to all provisions of this chapter, specifically those pertaining to the hours of operation in Section 806.24. An application fee shall be required for such temporary permit, but may be waived by the Village Board if recommended by the Village Staff.
 
   (b)   The total number of licenses in each classification shall be as established by the Board of Trustees from time to time.
   (c)   Upon the expiration of any license, determination pursuant to Section 806.17(b), or the revocation by the Local Liquor Control Commissioner or the State Liquor Control Commission of any such license authorized by subsection (b) hereof, such license shall no longer be available and the number of licenses for such class authorized in subsection (b) hereof shall be automatically reduced to reflect the non- availability of such license.
