802.09 LICENSE FEE SCHEDULE; ADJUSTMENT OF FEES.
   (a)   Except as otherwise specifically provided in this section, yearly fees for food or commercial establishments are as follows:

   (b)   The following commercial business activities shall be charged the following fees in lieu of the fees set forth in subsection (a) hereof:
      (1)   Alcoholic liquor sales. Applicants shall pay a one-hundred dollar ($100.00) application fee. The annual fees for the various classes of licenses are set forth in Section 806.04 .
      (2)   Amusement parks - $300.00 per year
      (3)   Carnivals. Fees for carnival licenses shall be determined by the Board of Trustees and its President with the following factors to be taken into consideration: investigation expenses, policing expenses and the length of time the carnival will be operated at the particular premises to be covered by the license.
      (4)   Cigarette dealers - $25.00 per year
      (5)   Coin-operated car washes - $40.00 per stall
         Automatic car wash stalls - 250.00 each
      (6)   Coin-operated laundromats.
            1-9 machines         $150.00
            10-19 machines      200.00

      (7)   Filling stations. Annual license fees are as follows:
            1-8 gas nozzles      $200.00
            9-16 gas nozzles      300.00
            17-24 gas nozzles      400.00
            25 or more gas nozzles   500.00
      (8)   Parking lots - $3.00 per parking stall per year
      (9)   Peddlers and commercial solicitors. License fees shall be equal to the cost of a criminal background check, plus the following fees:
            $2.50   for one day
            4.00   for two days
            6.00   for three days
            12.00   for one week
            60.00   for one month
            150.00   for three months
            200.00   for six months
            250.00   for one year
      (10)   Scavengers - $1,000 for each business and/or subsidiary per year. Vehicles on loan to a licensed scavenger doing business in the Village from a scavenger not licensed by the Village must be marked so as to identify the licensed business and from whom the vehicle is on loan. Vehicles not so marked will be in violation of this paragraph and the involved businesses will be subject to the penalties described herein.
      (11)   Taxicabs - $100.00 per business and $20.00 per taxi
      (12)   Home occupations, as defined by Section 8.8 of the Village Zoning Ordinance - $50.00 per year.
      (13)   Television communication companies. Any nonfranchised television system, whether it is a master antenna television system or a multipoint distribution system servicing multifamily dwelling units on a paid subscription basis, operating and providing commercial television service or paid television service, other than companies transmitting free television service, whose cables and connections do not traverse over public ways or property, whose television system utilizes only the property of the owner, whose receiving unit and all connections thereto are wholly contained within such owner's premises and whose receiving unit, characterized as an earth station, a TVRO, a satellite receiver, a dish antenna or any other type of receiving unit, feeds the signals received to the private home television set by low voltage underground cable running within the owner's property lines into or on the owner's building structure, shall pay, on May 1 in each case or whenever such service is operable, license fees of two hundred dollars ($200.00) for the use of the receiving unit for the first year and two hundred dollars ($200.00) each year thereafter up to and including the next four years of its operation. In addition to such licensing fee, such television communication company shall pay an annual licensing inspection fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) for each receiving unit in place on the premises of such company. The license may be revoked if the licensee fails to comply with all ordinances of the Village.
      (14)   Secondhand dealers - $500 per year in addition to other fees.
      (15)   Junk scavengers - $100 per year.
      (16)   Gun shops - $200.00 per year.
      (17)   Video Game Terminal Operator. Any owner, lessor or operator of a Video Gaming Terminal (VGT) pursuant to the Video Gaming Act (230 ILCS 40) shall pay a business license fee of $1,000 per terminal operating within the Village. Said business license fee is imposed directly upon the terminal operator and is separate and apart from any business license fees imposed upon the licensed host establishment in which the VGT is operated. The issuance of a Video Game Terminal Operator's business license shall be a condition precedent to the renewal or new application of the annual business license for any establishment hosting a VGT.
   (c)   The following fees shall be considered in addition to the fees set forth in subsections (a) and (b) hereof or otherwise provided for in subsection (b) hereof:
      (1)   Coin-operated amusement devices and vending machines (except video gaming terminals, coin-operated tobacco vending machines and those machines relating to coin-operated laundromats and coin-operated car washes)
         Machines requiring 25¢ or less for operation         $10.00
         Machines requiring more than 25¢ for operation      15.00
         Amusement machines                  75.00
      (2)   Coin-operated tobacco vending machines         100.00
      (3)   Video gaming terminals as defined by the Video Gaming
         Act (230 ILCS 40) (Per terminal)               $250.00
