§ 71.40 BUS STOPS GENERALLY.
   Sections of the streets named in § 71.42 will be marked off and designated as bus stops, and no parking shall be permitted in these sections during the hours of operation of the bus.

§ 71.41 BUS STOP REGULATIONS.
   (A)   Authority is vested in the Commission to designate bus stops at such locations and in such number as may be necessary and of the greatest benefit and convenience to the public. Every such bus shall be designated by appropriate signs.
   (B)   The operator of a bus shall not stop such bus at any place for the purpose of taking or discharging passengers other than at a bus stop so designated as provided herein, except in case of emergency.
   (C)   No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle at an authorized bus stop so designated as provided herein, or between the right curb and any such stop, except that the operator of a passenger vehicle may temporarily stop thereat for the purpose of and while actually engaged in the discharge of passengers or the pickup of passengers then in readiness at the curb.

§ 71.42 BUS STOPS DESIGNATED.
   (A)   The following described areas on Main Street be and they are hereby set apart and reserved exclusively as bus stops for east bound city buses, to-wit: An area 40 feet in length extending along the south side of Main Street eastwardly from Lancaster Avenue to the driveway between the First Baptist Church and the adjacent apartment house owned by said church; an area 40 feet in length extending along the south side of Main Street eastwardly from the intersection of Second Street; an area 40 feet in length extending along the south side of Main Street eastwardly from the intersection of Madison Avenue.
   (B)   The following described areas on Main Street be and they are hereby set apart and reserved exclusively as bus stops for west bound city buses, to-wit: An area 40 feet in length extending along the north side of Main Street westwardly from the intersection of B Street; an area 40 feet in length extending along the north side of Main Street westwardly from the intersection of Second Street; an area 40 feet in length extending along the north side of Main Street westwardly from the intersection of Third Street; an area 40 feet in length extending along the north side of Main Street westwardly from the driveway into the Dr. M. M. Robinson property adjacent to the church property of the First Methodist Church.

LOADING AND UNLOADING
§ 71.55 PURPOSE OF ZONE.
   The Irvine Street zone is created for the specific purpose and exclusive use of those vehicles in the Central Business District to load and unload cargo. All other vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense.
