(a) This section shall apply and be in force only with respect to employees within the Division of Fire who have been appointed and who otherwise qualify for the employee classification of Full-Time Firefighter.
(b) Firefighters shall be entitled to and shall be required to work under the following terms and conditions:
(1) The Firefighter shall work a minimum of forty hours in a seven day work period or 2,080 hours annually.
(2) The Firefighter shall be entitled to annual leave per Section 153.05.
(3) The Firefighter shall be entitled to sick leave pursuant to Section 153.07(a), (b), (c) and (d).
(4) The Firefighter shall be entitled to paid holidays pursuant to Section 153.06(a), (b), (c) and (d).
(5) The Firefighter shall be entitled to bereavement leave pursuant to Section 153.08.
(6) The Firefighter shall be entitled to longevity compensation pursuant to Section 153.10.
(7) The Firefighter shall be entitled to overtime pay pursuant to Section 153.11(a), (d) and (e).
(8) The Firefighter shall be entitled to personal days pursuant to Section 153.06(g).
(9) The Firefighter shall be entitled to uniform and clothing allowances pursuant to Section 153.12.
(10) The Firefighter shall be entitled to employee expenses pursuant to Section 153.13.
(12) The Firefighter shall be entitled to all other terms and conditions of employment which shall apply to permanent, full-time employees of the Village. (Ord. 13-1999. Passed 2-16-99.)
