1531.01 DEFINITIONS.
   (a)   "Aisle" means any open, unobstructed lane between seats, tables or chairs.
   (b)   "Assembly room" means any restaurant, public eating room, nightclub, public barroom, public dance hall or any place other than a theater, motion picture theater or public auditorium where the general public gathers for any purpose.
   (c)   "Exit" means any doorway used as a means of egress.
   (d)   "Foyer" means that space immediately adjacent to the seats of a public auditorium, theater, motion picture theater or assembly room which leads from such seats to the designated exits.
   (e)   "Public auditorium" means any hall where persons congregate to listen to operas, lectures, speakers or entertainments of any kind.

1531.02 AISLES, EXITS AND STAIRWAYS TO BE KEPT CLEAR AND UNOBSTRUCTED.
   The manager, proprietor or person in control of any assembly room, public auditorium, theater or motion picture theater shall keep all aisles, foyers, exits and stairways and passageways connecting with such exits at all times free from chairs, stools and obstructions of any kind and shall not allow any person, except bona fide employees, to stand in or occupy any of the aisles, foyers, exits or stairways or passageways connecting with the exits while the assembly room, public auditorium, theater or motion picture theater is open to the public.
