Subd. 1. Position Created. The position of Deputy Clerk is hereby created.
Subd. 2. Delegation of Duties. A portion of the City Clerk duties, as may be determined from time to time, performed by the City Administrator, are hereby delegated to the Deputy Clerk.
Subd. 3. Bond. The Council shall provide for a corporate surety bond, furnished by a surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Minnesota, and covering the position and duties of the Deputy Clerk. Premiums on either of the bonds shall be paid from city funds.
