The Minnesota State Building Code (Code), including all amendments thereto, shall apply to all contiguous, unincorporated territory within two miles from the corporate limits of the city in any direction. The city shall enforce the Code in those designated areas to the same extent as if the property were situated within the corporate limits of the city.
