5.08.150: CONSTRUCTION GENERALLY:
Every builder, constructor, contractor, subcontractor, land developer or self-employed person conducting, managing or carrying on the business of construction work in the city shall pay a license tax or taxes as specified in sections 5.08.155 through 5.08.185 of this article, solely for raising revenue for municipal purposes and not in any way intended as regulation. (Prior code § 2242)
