"Automobile service stations" means an area which provides for the servicing of motor vehicles, including tube and tire repairs, battery charging, storage of merchandise and supplies related to the servicing of motor vehicles, sale of gasoline and lubricants, automobile washing (not including automatic carwash) and grease racks, but excluding automobile repairs, body and fender work, engine overhauling, and other similar activities.
