The city engineer may require the applicant to file a cash bond with the city of Redlands as a condition to moving a structure over city streets, if, in his opinion, the streets, public utilities, street trees or other property may be subject to damages resulting from the moving of the structure. The amount of the cash bond will be in the amount as determined by the city engineer as necessary to pay for the estimated costs of all damages which may result by reason of the moving.
