§ 1490.215 LICENSING OF PUBLIC POOLS AND SPAS AND SPECIAL USE POOLS.
   (A)   There is hereby established an annual fee of $40 for licenses for public swimming pools, public spas and special use pools, as provided in Ohio R.C. Chapter 3749.
   (B)   The following guidelines shall apply in the issuance of such licenses:
      (1)   Seasonal pools. The city shall:
         (a)   Issue applications to seasonal swimming pools in April, 1988;
         (b)   Issue licenses to existing and approved swimming pools for the period ending May 31, 1989;
         (c)   Transmit $20 of each license fee received by the local health department to the Treasurer of the state;
      (2)   Year-round pools. The city shall:
         (a)   Issue applications after January 1, 1988;
         (b)   Issue licenses to approved and existing year-round pools with an expiration date of May 31, 1989;
         (c)   Transmit $20 of each license fee received by the local health department to the Treasurer of the state;
      (3)   New pools. The city shall, for pools started up after January 1, 1988:
         (a)   If pool plans were submitted after September 10, 1987, verify with the State Department of Health that the pool was constructed according to plan (such as a copy of the inspection reports);
         (b)   Issue applications, conduct inspections and issue licenses with an expiration date of May 31, 1989.
         (c)   Construction verification is not required if plans for a public swimming pool were submitted to the State Department of Health prior to September 10, 1987.
