Two or more means of egress, in the form of steps, ladders or step holes, shall be provided for a swimming pool. At least one such means of egress shall be located on a side of the pool at both the deep end and the shallow end. Treads of steps, ladders or step holes shall be constructed of sakes material and be at least three inches wide for their full length. Steps, ladders or step holes shall have a handrail on both sides.
