(A) There is hereby established the position of Plumbing Inspector, whose duties shall be to examine and approve or disapprove applications for plumbing permits made to the city. The Plumbing Inspector shall inspect all installations of plumbing facilities installed on application and shall perform all other duties with respect to plumbing facilities, installations and inspections.

(B) A contract with the General District Board of Health of Hamilton County for plumbing inspections for multifamily, mercantile and institutional buildings and structures and industrialized one, two and three-family dwellings is hereby authorized. The Plumbing Inspector of the city shall perform inspections of one, two and three-family dwellings.
