(A) Pursuant to Ohio R.C. 731.231, that document known as “Rules and Regulations for the Subdivision of Land,” prepared and promulgated by the Regional Planning Commission of Hamilton County, Ohio, and adopted by the Board of Hamilton County Commissioners on June 27, 1973 (Vol. 170, Page 344) and by the Regional Planning Commission on August 7, 1973, is hereby adopted by reference as the rules and regulations for the subdivision of land within the city, provided, however, that if any rules and regulations therein contained are in conflict with ordinances or resolutions of the city, the ordinances or resolutions shall take precedence, and provided, further, that references made to various county departments or officers shall be construed to be references to like departments or officers of the city, including, but not limited to, the following:
Board of County Commissioners
Council
County Engineer
City Engineer/Building Commissioner
Sanitary Engineer
City Engineer/Building Commissioner
Highway Engineer
City Engineer/Building Commissioner
Inspector
City Engineer/Building Commissioner or an inspector furnished by Council
Regional Planning Commission
City Planning Commission
(B) If there is no like department or officer, the department or officer of the city who is already charged with a duty fixed in such “Rules and Regulations for the Subdivision of Land” shall serve; otherwise, the Safety-Service Director shall determine what department or officer shall serve in the place of the department or officer named in such rules and regulations.
