(A) License fees for dance halls shall be payable on the basis of floor space as follows:
(1) Under 1,000 square feet, no fee.
(2) For 1,000 square feet, $351 per year, $33 per month, or $9 per single dance.
(3) More than 1,000 square feet, not more than 2,000 square feet, $685 per year, $64 per month, or $19 per single dance.
(4) More than 2,000 square feet, not more than 3,000 square feet, $1,028 per year, $98 per month, or $27 per single dance.
(5) More than 3,000 square feet, not more than 4,000 square feet, $1,371 per year, $130 per month, or $27 per single dance.
(6) More than 4,000 square feet, not more than 5,000 square feet, $1,716 per year, $160 per month, or $46 per single dance.
(7) More than 5,000 square feet, not more than 6,000 square feet, $2,057 per year, $192 per month, or $55 per single dance.
(8) More than 6,000 square feet, $2,400 per year, $224 per month, or $64 per single dance.
(B) In computing floor space, only that portion of the floor actually used for dancing shall be considered. Annual licenses granted under this chapter shall expire on February 15 next after date of issuance.
