Whoever violates any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree and shall be fined not more than $500 or imprisoned not more than 60 days, or both, for a first offense. Each subsequent offense within 30 days shall be deemed a misdemeanor of the second degree, for which the violator shall be fined not more than $750 or imprisoned not more than 90 days, or both.
