(A) No person shall conduct a garage, lawn or basement sale without first obtaining a permit therefor from the office of the Mayor.
(B) The office of the Mayor shall be authorized to issue such permit not more often than once in a six-month period to each household. Such permit shall be valid for two consecutive days, such days to be specified in the permit, and shall be valid only during daylight hours. Such permit shall be displayed in a prominent place and be visible from the street.
(C) Operating a garage, lawn or basement sale without such a permit shall be considered a violation of this chapter.
