§ 642.29 CONCEALING IDENTITY OF MACHINES.
   (A)   No person shall remove, cover, alter, change, deface, destroy or obliterate a manufacturer's or brand name or serial number on or from a machine or electrical or mechanical device or apparatus, farm tractor, hay baler, combine, corn picker or other farm machine, except a motor vehicle as defined in Ohio R.C. 4501.01, for the purpose of concealing the identity thereof.
   (B)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
