There is hereby created the position of City Clerk, who shall assist the Safety-Service Director, the City Engineer/Building Commissioner and the Plumbing Inspector by performing stenographic and clerical work as directed by such officers. The Clerk shall perform such other duties as are directed by the Mayor. The Clerk shall be appointed by the Mayor and shall serve until discharged by the Mayor.
