For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
AT LARGE. Not under the control of a person either by leash, cord, or chain.
CITY RECREATION TRAIL or TRAIL. Any city trail constructed for travel and designated as a city recreation trail by separate resolution of the City Council.
MOTORIZED VEHICLE. Any motorized conveyance including, but not limited to: cars, trucks, motorcycles, tractors, farm machinery, four by fours, golf carts, snowmobiles, minibikes, dune buggies, or ATVs. MOTORIZED VEHICLE shall not include motorized wheelchairs, electric-assist bicycles, vehicles operated by city employees who are assigned to work on such trails, or police or fire vehicles performing official duties.
NONMOTORIZED VEHICLE. Any nonmotorized conveyance, including: bicycles, unicycles, roller blades, roller skis, wheelchairs, wagons, and bicycle trailers. NONMOTORIZED VEHICLE shall include motorized wheelchairs and electric-assist bicycles.
