GENERAL PROVISIONS

§ 130.01 MEANINGS OF WORDS AND PHRASES.

   For the purpose of this general offenses title, the words and phrases of 720 ILCS 5/2-1 through 5/2-11, 5/2-13 through 5/2-16, 5/2-19 and 5/2-20, as approved, adopted and amended, are hereby adopted by the village, as fully as if set out herein.

§ 130.02 CRIMINAL CODE ADOPTED.

   The Illinois Criminal Code, 720 ILCS 5, as passed, approved and amended by the state’s General Assembly, is hereby adopted by the village; the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the corporate limits of the village; provided, however, the penalties as provided by this code shall apply.
