Sec 118-90 Insurance
An applicant under this article shall file with the City Clerk an insurance policy, to be approved by the City Clerk, providing insurance coverage for each and every ambulance owned, operated, or leased by the applicant for injury of or death to persons in accidents resulting from any cause for which the owner of the vehicle would be liable on account of any liability imposed upon him by law, regardless of whether the ambulance was being driven by the owner, his agent, or his lessee, and as against damage to the property of another, including personal property under like circumstances, in addition to any insurance required to obtain a State ambulance service license, in amounts to be determined by the City Council.
