The following words, terms, and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
A. Passenger means and includes a person merely riding in an automobile or vehicle as distinguished from one operating the same.
B. Person means and includes a natural person, corporation, limited liability company, partnership or limited partnership.
C. Street means and includes any street, alley, avenue, lane, court, or public place in the City.
D. Taxicab includes any and all motor vehicles used for the transportation or carrying of passengers for hire within the corporate limits of the City, except vehicles engaged in interstate commerce and vehicles properly and legally licensed by the Corporation Commission of Oklahoma to do a carrying business between established towns and cities within the State.
