As used herein the following words and terms shall have the meanings set forth below:
A. Developer shall mean any person requiring the extension of water service to provide water to a proposed or existing development or subdivision, whether platted or unplatted.
B. Approach main shall mean any main that is an off-site grid main that is required to connect a development or subdivision to a source or sources of ample water supply from Purcell in accordance with the policies and procedures of Purcell as they now exist and as they may be modified from time to time in the future.
C. Internal main shall mean any water main that is situated within a development to provide water service, circulation, and fire protection to customers, residents, or users located within the boundaries of the development or subdivision.
D. Extension shall mean connecting an approach main and its internal mains to an existing City grid main.
E. Grid main shall mean a water main extended in accordance with criteria adopted and approved by Purcell from time to time.
F. Connection fee shall mean a charge for the privilege of connecting to a main or an approach main, subject to reimbursement as specified in this article which may be modified from time to time.
